Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR team members to support employer branding initiatives, including drafting social or LinkedIn content and auditing existing employer brand materials
- Assistwith employee engagement efforts, such as survey preparation, analysis support, andactionplanningmaterials
- Support leadership and manager enablement initiatives by helping develop job aids, templates, outlines, or learning resources
- Contribute to HR communications by drafting internal content, summaries, or campaign materials
- Support HR process improvement efforts, including documenting workflows, simplifying templates, and improving trackers or tools
- Participate in HR onboarding, team meetings, and cross-functional shadowing to build a foundational understanding of HR operations
- Incorporate feedback through structured review and iteration cycles
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing project work, outcomes, learnings, and recommendations
Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Interest in people strategy, culture, employee engagement, and communications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship, coursework, or exposure to Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, or Business Operations
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Teams, Copilot, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
- Interest in employer branding, internal communications, or employee engagement initiatives
Additional Requirements:
- Location: Fully On-site at the Accertify Headquarters in Itasca, IL
- Full-time, 40-hour week position
- Monday – Friday 9 am-5 pm CST
- Internship program runs from June 1st to July 31st (9 weeks)
- Interns are allowed three non-paid days off throughout the 9-week program; they must work with their hiring leader to coordinate these days.
- Interns will have two non-paid holidays during the program (Juneteenth and Independence Day).
- The expected hourly range for this position is $20 per hour
- Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work for Accertify in the U.S. isrequired; Accertify will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position
