Summary: The purpose of this internship is to provide the student with hands-on experience assisting with recruitment processes and other HR administrative functions. The Intern, working with direct supervision, will be trained on and perform tasks associated with the position most in line with their assigned program or department. This is a great opportunity to gain HR experience and also learn about the Human Services field.

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm (16 hours per week) April -July 1, 2026

Desired Outcome: After the six-month internship, the Intern will have a solid foundation in the role to which he or she was assigned. This Intern will also have an understanding of the particulars of working for a non-profit, human services organization.

Required Skills/Experience:

  1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Level Program or above. Recent Graduates will also be considered for this role.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. The ability to work independently.
  4. A minimum of intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word and Excel
  5. Excellent attention to detail.
  6. Strong analytical and organizational skills

  1. While performing the duties of this internship, the intern is frequently required to climb stairs.
  2. The intern must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  3. The intern must have a normal range of eyesight with or without corrective lenses, and have a normal range of hearing with or without corrective equipment.
