Location & Schedule Disclaimer:
- This is an in-person internship based at our Altamonte Springs, FL Support Center. The internship may be full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (20 hours per week), depending on department needs. Applicants must be able to work on-site.

As an intern in our Human Resources team, you'll play a supportive role in various projects and daily operations. This experience is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the death care industry, your department's functions and how they contribute to our organization's success. This role is ideal for students pursuing a career in Human Resources who are interested in understanding how HR functions work together within a complex, multi-location organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support new hire training logistics, including tracking attendance, coordinating communications, and preparing or shipping training materials.
- Assist with class moderation and the creation, editing, or updating of instructional guides, job aids, and training documentation.
- Support Talent Acquisition compliance activities, including assisting with I-9 validation processes and maintaining employment eligibility records under supervision.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, trackers, and system data to support reporting accuracy and operational consistency.
- Provide administrative support related to benefits and compensation programs, including maintaining documentation and tracking employee inquiries or requests.
- Assist with Total Rewards initiatives such as benefits communications, enrollment preparation support, or data validation activities.
- Support Employee Relations activities by assisting with documentation, case tracking, and follow-up coordination as directed.
- Assist with policy-related projects, internal HR documentation, or materials that support consistent people practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in relevant field or recently graduated within the past two years.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license.
