Job Summary

Good 2 Go Stores is looking for an HR Intern that can dominate in recruiting! Your position will work fast and furious to help us staff for the upcoming summer rush.  Your interviewing skills will be put to the test by recruiting store managers, store associates, and other positions within the organization. Of course, we will need help with benefits, organizational development, HR administration, and other HR projects to help round out our team for a few months. Duties and Responsibilities

The HR Intern will primarily be focused on:

  • Ensuring successful recruitment and interviewing of qualified candidates for exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Assisting with sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and supporting offer processes to match candidates to business needs.
  • Training and supporting individual store managers on the HRIS system.
  • Partnering with payroll to ensure time-off requests, time punches, and timecard approvals are accurate and completed on time.
  • Assisting in coaching store managers on hiring best practices and applicable state and federal employment laws.
  • Supporting onboarding processes, including I-9 compliance, W-2 access, and employment verifications.
  • Maintaining the HR scorecard and contributing to initiatives aimed at reducing turnover.
  • Conducting exit interviews and employee check-in interviews.
