We are actively looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our Long Beach office. As part of the Global HR Group, the intern will work closely with the California based team.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Assists the Total Rewards team with benefit invoicing
- Assists with LOA tracking and benefit administration
- Generates pay and benefits-related reporting and analytics
- Collaborates with Total Reward team on preparation for Open Enrollment
- Prepares Employee Action Forms and review for accuracy
- Provides additional administrative assistance to the Human Resources Team as needed
- Utilizes Human Resources learning as needed in practice

Qualifications:
- Working towards bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related degree
- A Junior or above to be considered
- Software
- Microsoft office
- Strong Excel skills preferred
- ADP or BST experience a Strong Plus
- Microsoft office
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Strong practice of confidentiality and ethical work
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
- Moffatt & Nichol uses E-Verify and employment is contingent upon the legal ability to obtain employment in the U.S. and to present the required documentation at hire
Physical requirements:
Sedentary for prolonged period of time, may occasionally interact directly with employees at all levels of the organization
Base salary range:
$28.00 to $32.00 per hour based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting the required qualifications in the job description.
Base salary range only applicable for candidates who will be hired and working in the California market.
