Position Summary:
Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Recruitment Intern and embark on a rewarding journey to develop your skills in talent acquisition. In this role, you'll support our recruitment efforts, learn from experienced HR professionals, and contribute to the growth of our organization by helping to identify and attract top talent. This opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive environment, perfect for those passionate about starting a career in Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings on various job boards and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidate fit.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and databases.
- Assist in drafting Facebook and LinkedIn posts
- Assist in drafting and updating job descriptions and recruitment materials.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing necessary documentation and orientation materials.
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events to represent the company.
- Assist in creating and maintaining recruitment reports and metrics.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and execute recruitment strategies.
- Provide administrative support for the recruitment team as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in recruitment or human resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with social media and professional networking platforms (LinkedIn, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Availability to work a minimum of 15-25 hours per week
