About this role
WinnCompanies is seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational functions of the HR department. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations and provides direct support to the Executive Vice President of Human Resources and additional support to the senior HR leadership team.
This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys a dynamic, fast paced environment, takes pride in being a reliable resource to others, and will partner closely with the HR Operations Manager.
You will be based out of our Boston, MA Headquarters located at One Washington Mall, Boston, MA 02108 (Government Center) on Mondays-Thursdays with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
Please note that the pay range for this position is $31.25 to $36.00 per hour, depending on experience. The final pay rate will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Additionally, the selected candidate will typically work: Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to HR leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, preparation of meeting materials, occasional travel arrangements, and special projects
- Serve as a point of contact for the HR Helpdesk and Hotline by triaging requests and ensuring timely resolution or escalation
- Process HR-related accounts payable, including invoice submission, tracking, discrepancy resolution, and vendor communication
- Maintain and support employee personnel file requests, including handling sensitive documentation with a high level of confidentiality
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, external partners, and the HR leadership team
- Proactively identify and address administrative and operational needs to ensure continuity and efficiency
- Provide coordination and support for HR initiatives and cross-functional projects
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and shift multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience in retail, food service, or other customer-facing roles
- Experience in HR, administration, or executive assistant positions
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
A traditional corporate HR background is not required. We value individuals with strong work ethic, adaptability, and a service-oriented mindset.
