POSITION SUMMARY:
Work under direction of the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the recruiting function and gain hands-on experience in recruiting. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, and coordinating the hiring process across all Fielmann USA banners. The intern will contribute to recruiting projects that support both learning objectives and the department’s hiring goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
INTERPRETATION
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and hiring priorities
• Post job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms. Remove once positions have been filled
• Screen applications to identify potential candidates to fill open job requisitions
• Organize candidate interviews
• Update company databases by inputting new teammate information and employment details
• Coordinate new hire orientations
• Initiate and track background checks, ensuring all steps follow company policy and compliance requirements
• Assist with updating recruiting manuals, SOP’s, and manager training materials as processes evolve
• Support integration of newly acquired centers
• Assist with recruiting events and job fairs
• Additional duties as assigned
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Currently pursuing or recent graduate with degree in human resources, communication or another related field
• Comfortable communicating with candidates and internal stakeholders
• Attention to detail
• Well organized with good time management skills
• Collaborative personality and the ability to work within a team
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to thrive within a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of programs
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communication
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to operate various office equipment (e.g., personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.)
• Able to lift 10 to 20 pounds
• Able to view/read computer screen for extended periods of time
• Able to work normal and/or extended (evenings, nights, and weekends) office hours to meet established deadlines
• Able to travel independently to support Company objectives and personal development
