Job Summary

The Human Resources Recruitment Specialist position has the responsibility of recruiting resort personnel for all areas and pre- and post-employment procedures. Serve as a primary point of contact for applicants and employees regarding positions within the company. Coordinating with hiring managers throughout the hiring process to curate job postings, schedule interviews, and provide screening services. Assisting potential and current employees with HR related affairs and or directing them to the proper resources within the department are other employee assistance functions.  Recruitment functions include marketing and posting positions, and creative advertising.  Administrative functions include processing applications, pre-employment screenings, post-employment procedures, and I-9 and new hire documentation. The Lead Recruitment Specialist provides both interpretation and translation services between English and Spanish languages in order to assist applicants, employees, and management. The Recruitment Specialist also serves as a support for the HR Recruitment team and Management with special projects and other employee centered programs. 

Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administrative, attention to detail and organization skills
  • Prior customer service/employee relations experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general database applications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must be at least 18

Preferred

Previous office/administrative experience

Knowledge of resort operations

Typical Schedule

Days:

Monday-Friday, weekends and holidays as needed

Hours:

9am-5pm, evenings as needed

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment for resort positions including job marketing, posting and creative advertising
  • Administer recruitment pre-employment functions including screening applications, scheduling interviews, and processing new hire documentation, and post-employment functions including ID system input and record maintenance
  • Assist applicants and management throughout the application, interview, and hiring processes
  • Research recruitment marketing trends, propose new ideas, and follow-through with approved initiatives
  • Meet with employees to offer insurance benefits and complete benefit election forms
  • Provide interpretation and translation services between English and Spanish languages for department and resort initiatives - written, verbal, and in group settings
  • Support HR team with administrative functions/programs/events as needed
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Participate in employee feedback programs/committees
  • Complete cross-training and serve as a back-up in the absence of other human resource professionals
  • Other duties as assigned by management
