Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new associates, including employment documentation, system setup, and first-day readiness
- Assist with new associate orientation coordination to ensure the orientation is seamless and on time
- Maintain and manage employee personnel files in compliance with company policies and legal requirements, including regular auditing for accuracy and completeness
- Serve as front desk reception for the Human Resources department, greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing inquiries appropriately
- Create, update, and distribute employee name badges in accordance with company standards
- Track, compile, and maintain human resources metrics and reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, onboarding status, compliance tracking)
- Provide general HR support to employees by responding to basic inquiries or directing them to appropriate HR team members
- Assist with special HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in human resources, administrative support, or customer service preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems (HRIS) preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
Physical and Work Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a desk for extended periods
- Ability to interact in person and via phone with employees and visitors
- Ability to lift light office materials as needed
