About this role

General Definition: This position provides basic-level administrative and analytical support for the Human Resources Department and performs a broad spectrum of duties requiring a high degree of confidentiality, discretion.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide day-to-day human resources and operational support for the HR Department.
  • Processes all employment verifications & file requests to appropriate and secured parties.
  • Maintain team members records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
  • Coordinates and schedules special activities, training events, and/or promotional activities for internal purposes that support the HR Department, such as new hire orientation, job fairs and hiring events.
  • Work closely with the Human Resources Manager to ensure that HR programs are consistently administered in compliance with organizational policies and cultural values.
  • Assists the HR Specialist with their assignment to train team members by department on general topics of common interest or topics designed to increase team member understanding of and satisfaction in the organizations team member programs in order to provide team members with a fair/consistent workplace in support of creating a Winning Experience.
  • Scheduling and coordinating Pre- employment processes such as but not limited to, drug screenings, background authorizations as required for the position.
  • Aids and assists the HR specialist in completing the onboarding process for all team members.
  • Fielding phone calls and emails from team member, analyzing the needs of the team member and either responding to the team or referring the matter to the HR Specialist
  • Perform administrative functions based on understanding HR policies and procedures. Many of these functions are confidential in nature and require insight into the why as well as the how and accurately communicate these policies to individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Assists the HR Specialist with the input of all HR transactional data into the HRIS while ensuring data integrity.
  • Works closely with HR Manager to ensure a high level of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • All other duties as assigned.
