About this role
Specific Job Functions:
- Serve as a first point of contact for applicants and employees by answering calls, responding to inquiries, and directing requests appropriately.
- Review and process employment applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and compliant.
- Coordinate and execute new hire onboarding, including verification of employee data within UKG Recruitment Gateway and UKG Pro.
- Communicate with new hires regarding missing or incomplete documentation and provide clear guidance on next steps.
- Verify, copy, and maintain employment eligibility documentation, including I-9 forms and work authorization records.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic employee files.
- Track and log daily onboarding activities, including new hires, rehires, and reinstatements.
- Process and monitor background checks and drug screening requirements.
- Update and maintain job postings across recruitment platforms as needed.
- Prepare internal and external correspondence with professionalism and accuracy.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of all employee records and information in accordance with company policies.
- Provide guidance on gaming compliance requirements to applicable employees.
- Serve as a point of contact at the Employee Services window, assisting employees with Human Resources related questions and/or needs.
- Support additional Human Resources functions and special projects as needed to ensure departmental success.
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish) required.
- 1 plus year of Human Resources experience preferred.
- Familiarity with gaming regulations is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and professional telephone etiquette.
- Professional appearance and demeanor required.
