Pay Range: $25 to $28 per hour (based on experience)
Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking a talented and innovative Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join its team at its Production Facility in Lodi, CA. As the HR Specialist, you’ll be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and scheduling. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be the main point of contact for employee questions, especially during our peak summer months.
What You'll Do:
- Support all the human resources functions, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, payroll and scheduling.
- Assist with the daily scheduling process which includes ensuring headcount is met for all departments.
- Perform daily and weekly timecard reconciliation and payroll processes for all Collective Bargaining Agreement (union) employees.
- Prepare and process documentation and reports related to various HR activities.
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to employees and management; assisting and advising employees and answering their questions.
- Collaborate with various members of the team on a variety of projects.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and always maintain a high level of professionalism, setting a high standard for all employees.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed during our pack season (June through September).

- Highly detail oriented and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Knowledgeable about federal and state employment and labor laws.
- Want to be a part of a high performing team with room for growth.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English or Punjabi/English is preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in relevant field of study or 2 years of Human Resources Experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and various types of office equipment.
- Understanding of timekeeping practices, scheduling, and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements.

Pay Range: $25 to $28 per hour (based on experience). This is a full-time, on-site role based out of Lodi, CA.
The base salary range reflects the reasonable expectation for what the company anticipates paying for this role at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on factors including, but not limited to:
- Relevant skills, education, and experience
- Job-related qualifications and certifications
- Internal pay equity
