The HR Specialist supports the design, delivery and ongoing facilitation of Human Resource (HR) services, programs, transactions, projects and initiatives on behalf of the HR Team. The role serves as the first point of contact for employee outreach and inquiries; manage process and workflows related to the employee life cycle; and provide project/ program support to members of HR Leadership.
Reporting to the VP, HR, this position is responsible for administering assigned HR workflows, transactions, and programs to the organization and performs audit and/ or quality reviews to ensure accuracy of data/ information collected and distributed by the HR Team. The role tracks, reports and distributes related HR data and reporting for assigned areas of responsibility.
Success in this position requires strong business, financial and technical acumen; strong communication skills, effective analytical and problem solving abilities; and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage stakeholder requests.
Qualifications Include
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/ GED)
- 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Previous experience working in a matrix environment preferred
- Strong technical skills and demonstrated experience with MS Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with HRIS platforms preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of individuals both internal and external to the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization
- Client focused with strong execution skills and results orientation
- Strong organization and planning skills; ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize activities
- Collaborative workstyle; demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills; solid problem-solving abilities coupled with sound judgment

Compensation
- The hiring range for this position is between $23.17-$31.25 per hour.
- This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
