About the Department

The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who has exemplary attention to detail, able to problem-solve, organize, and prioritize work responsibilities, maintain excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced Human Resources environment. This position will serve as a Human Resources Technician performing the full range of human resource activities serving the serving Department of Corrections.

Ideal candidates will have:

A strong understanding of human resource activities and responsibilities at the state of Michigan.
Ability to investigate, analyze, interpret, and apply policies, rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
