We are seeking a motivated HVAC Service Apprentice to join our growing team in Wolcott, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC industry. The Apprentice will work alongside experienced Service Technicians to learn the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed HVAC Service Technicians with service, maintenance, and repair calls. 
  • Learn to diagnose HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality systems. 
  • Perform preventative maintenance, filter changes, and equipment inspections. 
  • Safely use hand and power tools while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. 
  • Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials. 
  • Complete service documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors. 
  • Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices.


Requirements
 
  • Able to listen, follow directions, and learn from experienced technicians. 
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to build a career in the HVAC trade. 
  • Mechanical aptitude or mechanical knowledge preferred. 
  • Completion of a trade school or technical high school HVAC program preferred. 
  • Previous HVAC experience preferred but not required. 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions. 
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC tools, refrigeration cycle, electrical systems, or plumbing. 
  • Experience using hand and power tools
Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
