As a CNA, you'll work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals to support patients throughout their hospital stay, providing comfort, assistance, and exceptional care when it matters most.

What You'll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct patient support and assist the nursing team with daily patient care activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Provide comfort measures and support to patients and families
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Support nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members

Qualifications

Required

• Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• Previous healthcare experience, though not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
