About the Department
- Under general supervision, responsible for the efficient operation of an industry program within a correctional setting for a potential multishift operation.
- Supervise employee/inmate workers.
- Screen, select, train and evaluate assigned personnel.
- Provide rehabilitation and self-improvement opportunities for inmates.
- Supervise activity within manufacturing operation.
- Responsible for the security of the workplace and to keep area safe for inmates, employees and the public.
- Serve as correctional officer in maintaining internal security.
- Supervise and perform administrative functions as assigned/required.
- Serve as plant manager when needed.
- Schedule subject to change.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
