The Information Security Intern will be responsible to review documentation of runbooks, alert logic, policies, and procedures.  Assist with compliance to audit, regulatory and legal requirements.  Gain and apply knowledge of security trends, threats, and attack techniques.  Assist with research, innovation and continuous coverage of malicious activity in custom intelligence research tools.  Maintains in-depth knowledge of security trends, threats and attack techniques.  Correlate incident/vulnerability data to identify specific vulnerabilities and makes recommendations that enable expeditious remediation.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in computer science, engineering, information systems, Cybersecurity or related field.
  • High energy and intellectual curiosity.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Ability to apply previous experience and knowledge to new situations and problems.
  • Certification or demonstrated knowledge with Microsoft Windows System Administration.
  • Basic understanding of basic cyber-attack methods (Phishing, Malware, Ransomware, Social Engineering, etc.
