This role fuses traditional compute operations with intelligent, cognitive software automation. We are seeking a highly motivated, entry level Data Center Infrastructure DevOps engineer who can help us drive compute infrastructure and server platforms reliability, security, and scalability by championing automation first practices. You'll work side by side with senior engineers, translating AI enhanced concepts into concrete, repeatable infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, diagnose and replace failed server components, upgrade memory/CPU, and run preventive maintenance inspections on compute racks.
Build lightweight monitoring dashboards and configure alert rules to catch performance anomalies, capacity thresholds, or security events before they impact users.
Develop python-based automation for smart infrastructure decisions including predictive maintenance using computer vision models and continuous model improvement via feedback loops.
Apply hardening guidelines (patch management, least privilege access), participate in audits, and maintain architectural diagrams for all automated processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related specialized field.
Python programming proficiency (scripts, Jupyter/Colab notebooks).
Compute server hardware expertise (building, over-clocking, component selection) experience.
Hands on experience with AI/ML pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrates analytical thinking and exposure to interdisciplinary problem solving.
Knowledge of compute server bare metal provisioning, hardware diagnostics, and performance tuning.
Understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $85,950.00-141,950.00 USD
