About the Department
- Under general supervision distribute E.H. Cooper Trust fund checks and reports.
- Review bank exception reports and take appropriate action.
- Reconcile and distribute the E.H. Cooper daily cash receipts.
- Verify E.H. Cooper Trust fund transaction, process withdrawals and make necessary adjustments to inmate accounts.
- Process incoming mail.
- Respond to inmate requests to staff inquiries and assist institutional personnel with management of inmate accounts.
- Respond to calls/requests from the public.
- Prepare court filing fee transactions.
- Assist with the maintenance of inmate restitution accounts.

Position Duties
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and entry-level experience in accounting or bookkeeping. A bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for required work experience.

Must be proficient in Microsoft to include excel, multitasking, and have good communication skills.
