VML Emerge Internship Program
Ready to launch your career at the forefront of innovation? Join VML for an exhilarating immersive program designed to accelerate your growth. You'll gain invaluable real-world experience through hands-on project work, dynamic team collaboration, and a strong focus on cutting-edge AI integration, including a dedicated intern project crafting a mock pitch for a real client of ours, all complemented by specialized career development events.
This is a 10-week hybrid internship (June 2nd - August 6th, 2026). You’ll work 4 days in the office and 1 day remotely.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an Account & Social Media Intern who is excited about working with clients, helping manage social media communities, and learning how AI tools can make marketing better. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys teamwork, problem-solving, and staying up-to-date with social media trends and has interest in the advertising campaign lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Help with Account Tasks: Support day-to-day activities like creating status reports, organizing meetings, and helping with project updates.
- Work with Clients: Work on multiple marquee brands and internal projects with a dedicated mentor.
- Social Media & Community Management: Assist with creating social media strategies, managing online communities, and keeping track of trends to improve client campaigns.
- Learn AI Tools: Experiment with AI tools (like ChatGPT or Gemini) to help with tasks like researching, writing content, or organizing reports.
- Research & Insights: Use AI tools to learn about client industries, competitors, and trends. Turn this information into ideas that help clients succeed.
- Share Ideas: Present your findings and creative ideas to your team and agency leaders.
Who You Are
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: You’re great at keeping track of tasks, timelines, and details to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Strong Communicator: You can write clearly, speak confidently, and build strong relationships with clients and teammates.
- AI-Curious Problem-Solver: You’ve experimented with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) or are eager to learn, instinctively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Team Player: You thrive in collaborative environments, take initiative, and are always ready to help out.
- Social Media-Savvy: You understand how brands use social media and can identify trends to help clients stand out.
Eligibility
- You are a rising undergrad senior, a recent grad, or a on a non-traditional path with a track record of delivering impact.
- Must be 18+ with U.S. work authorization
- Must be available to work and learn throughout the entirety of the program
- You know the basics of marketing and social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.
- You’re organized, good at managing your time, and can handle multiple tasks at once.
- You’re eager to learn new tools and try new ways of working
