Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, who is interested in clinical data management, especially using AI to automate and optimize tasks like data cleaning, reviewing, coding and reconciliation, improving efficiency, accuracy and speed in clinical trials by reducing manual burdens, freeing up staff for complex analysis.
This position will office-based in the Research Triangle Park, NC or Philadelphia, PA areas and will report to a director in Data Management.
Job Responsibilities
- Learn how data is collected, cleaned, and used in clinical trials
- Partner with multiple groups in a matrix environment to leverage the existing AI tools or develop new AI capability for data review and visualization dashboards
- Participate in regular meetings with Data Management functions
- Assist with data extraction and re-formatting tasks
- Design and/or maintain flexible programming capable of creating standardized data sets across multiple formats on different studies
- Present to the department on a topic selected by your manager at the end of your internship
