We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking an Advanced Analytics Intern in Earth Sciences and Engineering to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a temporary position lasting around 3 months, located in our San Diego, CA office. 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will:

• Shaping our company’s future as a leader in advanced analytics and emerging technologies.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists across the company to design, influence, execute, measure, and improve engineering design workflows and client experiences through software and analytics.
• Working with data engineers on complex datasets and data standardization.
• Supporting data acquisition and analysis of remote sensing and instrumentation projects.
• Producing engaging data visualizations.
• Working with the team to develop large-scale predictive models.
• Participating in client meetings and presentations. 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:

• Pursuing a B.S. in a relevant engineering discipline in the United States.
• Working knowledge of computer programming (preferably Python).
• Adaptable, willing to learn new technologies and skills quickly.
• Relentless focus on improvement, both for yourself, and the team.
• Team attitude and the ability to interact well with internal staff, and project teams that will include other consultants, contractors, and clients. 

The rate for this position in San Diego, CA is $24.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market.
