Summary:
This position will assist the Finance team with daily tasks, projects and continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, it will provide exposure to each of Hanwha’s business unit manufacturing operations and the systems and processes that the Finance Team utilizes to support each entity.
Essential Functions:
- Exposure to the month end closing process ranging from preparation of journal entries, performing account analysis, and generation of reporting.
- Support in completing the annual KSOX internal control testing
- Interacting with process owners to facilitate the periodic updating of standard work
- Other ad hoc projects which may include fixed asset inventories, system upgrade testing, supporting annual budget efforts, etc.
- Perform other related duties or responsibilities as requested or required.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.
- Ability to travel 5-10% when required.
