Job Purpose
We are seeking a Finance (FP&A) Summer Intern to support the financial planning and analysis function. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to financial reporting, variance analysis, and business operations within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with updating financial reporting files with actual results
- Support variance analysis by identifying differences vs prior periods or plan
- Help prepare monthly reporting decks and presentations
- Perform data validation and tie-outs across reports
- Assist with ad hoc data pulls and basic analysis
- Maintain and update tracking files (e.g., spend, departmental reports)
- Document processes and workflows
Qualifications:
- Basic Excel skills (formulas, data organization)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow structured processes
- Willingness to learn and ask questions
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university.
- Able to work in our Morristown office 3 days per week
Preferred Skills:
- Interest in corporate finance or FP&A
- Exposure to Excel functions or data analysis
- Strong organizational skills
