Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $17.93to $29.90 per hour, and the good faith estimated starting pay for this position upon hire is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.
Scope of Job: This Financial Reporting internship position will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, i.e. monthly reconciliations, research reconciling differences, journal entries, etc.
Internship Duration: June 1, 2026 to August 31, 2026
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Be a resource for the team in compiling data, conducting research, etc.
- Complete various projects.
Goals of Internship:
- Provide an opportunity for existing team members to mentor and guide an entry level accountant.
- Gain an understanding of day-to-day accounting.
- Opportunity to receive mentorship from the leaders in Accounting.
Skills to Acquire:
- Enhance technical skills for accounting journal entries.
Working Conditions: Hybrid schedule with three days in the office and remaining two days at your discretion; either working remotely or in the office. Time spent in an office environment, utilizing computers, phones, and general office equipment.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Undergraduate or Graduate Student
- Graduate or Undergraduate Degree in Accounting
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting
- Available for full time hours.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Ability to learn quickly
- Strong excel skills to perform pivot tables, vlookup, etc
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimum supervision
- Entrepreneurial, energetic, and flexible personality with a bias towards action
- Possess strong analytical and research skills
- Able to learn quickly
- Skilled in interpersonal relationships with strong communication skills
- Interested in growing a career in the renewable energy market.
- Ability to organize work
- Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner
