About the Opportunity

The Monin Flavor Academy Internship Program is your chance to dive into the vibrant world of flavor creation and business innovation. Over 9 immersive weeks, you’ll gain hands-on experience, collaborate across departments, and contribute to projects that bring Monin’s mission to life. This is more than just an internship; it’s a chance to learn from passionate professionals, sharpen your business and creative instincts, and leave your mark on a global flavor brand.

Project Overview

This internship is a unique opportunity to shape the future of internal learning and culture at Monin. The intern will take the lead in developing a multi-month learning series focused on Monin Secret Ingredients (MSIs)—what they represent, how they influence employee experience, and how they support our brand identity. The role blends instructional design, creative content development, and platform research to build learning experiences that are engaging, meaningful, and easy for employees to absorb.

What You’ll Do

  1. Monthly MSI Training/Refresher Series

The intern will design a 25-month curriculum of short (5–10 minute) training modules, each highlighting one of the Monin Secret Ingredients. This includes:

  • Researching each MSI and distilling key themes into clear, engaging micro-learning content.
  • Creating structured modules that incorporate storytelling, practical examples, and cultural relevance.
  • Designing interactive components to maintain engagement (polls, reflection questions, short quizzes, etc.).
  • Determining the best delivery platform—Monin Connect or Alchemy—and adapting content for each.
  • Preparing a complete library of 25 fully ready-to-launch modules plus a recommended rollout plan.

2. MSI-Aligned Book List & Book Club

The intern will curate a book club program designed to deepen employees’ connection to MSIs. Responsibilities include:

  • Selecting books that reflect or complement the themes of each Secret Ingredient.
  • Developing discussion questions, optional activities, and reading prompts.
  • Proposing an implementation strategy (cadence, virtual vs. in-person, scheduling, etc.).

3. Platform & Format Research

To support long-term scalability, the intern will:

  • Compare Monin Connect and Alchemy as hosting platforms for the learning series.
  • Analyze best practices for short-form learning across industries.
  • Identify the most effective formats, styles, and media for employee engagement.
  • Produce a brief recommendation report summarizing findings and proposing an optimal approach.
