Position Overview

HealthStream’s Platform Architecture team is looking for a Developer Intern to join our OneApp Core team for Summer 2026. OneApp is HealthStream’s next-generation microfrontend platform built on Webpack Module Federation, enabling independently deployable micro-applications within a unified shell. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced frontend architects and developers to build production-quality React components, contribute to the shared design system, and help advance our microfrontend architecture that serves thousands of healthcare organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain React components within the OneApp microfrontend architecture using Module Federation
Contribute to the shared component library and design system used across micro-applications
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups with the OneApp Core team
Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate requirements into technical implementations
Assist in debugging and resolving frontend performance issues across micro-applications
Document technical designs, component APIs, and development patterns for team knowledge sharing
Present internship project findings and learnings to the broader engineering organization
