THE OPPORTUNITY

Graduate internships at Cotality are more than just a learning experience; they are the launchpad. This is a 10-week immersive summer program where you won't just observe; you will participate in the day-to-day work environment and tackle real-world technology projects and address property business challenges.

Our Goal for You: This program is designed as a standalone, high-impact professional development experience, serving as a vital bridge between academia and the professional world. While we are committed to providing you with industry-leading skills, elite mentorship and valuable networking, please be aware that this is a fixed-term program that may or may not lead to a permanent role.

Location: We are focused on providing a hybrid experience, working a few days a week in one of our office locations and the remainder being remote, throughout the 10 weeks. Our two largest employee centers are in Irvine, CA and Dallas, TX, with additional locations in San Diego, CA. Candidates should live within a commutable distance to these sites.

Collaborating with the R&D Innovation team, you will leverage cutting-edge AI engineering frameworks to build and operationalize a sophisticated agentic swarm and data services ecosystem. You will develop a framework capable of executing complex scenario simulations on client portfolios by integrating proprietary AI models, nationwide consumer data, and core business processes. As a high-impact contributor, your work will be a centerpiece of our Discovery Center, showcased daily to our premier enterprise customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with our data specialists to understand and adapt the digital twin model
  • Develop the experience with our designer and software team
  • Integrate your project into our showroom platform
  • Receives general supervision and guidance from more experienced team members.
  • Follows department processes, procedures and client requirements; may make recommendations and/or implement improvements/ solutions.
  • Participates in Internship Program activities and events to include: onboarding, educational activities, information sessions, product demos and social events.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

Job Qualifications:

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree program pursuing a related degree at an accredited 4-year college or university, or equivalent boot camp program.
  • Minimum three years of relevant coursework completed by time of internship or equivalent boot camp program work.
  • Preferred minimum 3.0 cumulative collegiate grade point average, on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent
  • Prior internship or co-op experience preferred
  • Participation in campus activities related to field preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through participation in on-campus activities, educational forums and/or prior work experience

Assignment Specific Experience

  • Global understanding of general software patterns (micro-services, user interface, API, synchronous and asynchronous coordination)
  • Experience in one or several of the following languages : Java, Javascript, Typescript, Python
  • Familiarity with one or several of the following platforms : Spring Boot, NestJS, Angular
  • Optional knowledge on deployment : Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Optional knowledge on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of processes, procedures and products of the immersive experience
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional team and matrix management structure

  • Strong technical aptitude.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, such as Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint.
