The Customer Validation team develops tools, tests, and workflows that help ensure Micron’s memory and storage solutions meet customer requirements. The team collaborates across engineering groups to validate functionality, performance, and usability through innovative dashboard features and server‑side applications.

The Engineering Intern supports feature development for a web‑based dashboard and contributes to testing activities for server‑side applications. This role provides hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment and works closely with software engineers, QA, and product management teams. The position is 100% on‑site.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and test new features for the web‑based dashboard.
  • Develop and execute tests for server‑side applications to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Assist with customer validation activities to confirm solutions meet defined requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation for new features and test procedures.
  • Explore and support AI‑driven tools or automation techniques to improve development workflows and testing efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to the web dashboard and server applications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks or tools such as React, Angular, or Node.js.
  • Understanding of server‑side technologies and testing methodologies.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities, with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
  • Previous internship or project experience in a related field.
