As a part of the Ads and Commerce (A&C) internal communications (IC) team, you will drive communications for executive leaders within A&C, the engine that fuels business. You will define the IC strategy for the Search Ads and Ads on Google Experiences (SAGE) and Consumer Shopping organizations to inform, inspire, and engage A&C employees globally with consistent messaging, stories of purpose, innovation, and growth. Your role helps Googler's understand how A&C innovations are creating billions of connections between people and businesses, enabling the success of millions of businesses, publishers and creators, while helping billions of people find what they are looking for on the web.We help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders--and our own employees--about the benefits of Google's products, our distinctive company culture/values and our approach to the big public policy issues of the day. You are quick-witted, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious. To succeed in this role, you are willing to try new things and can manage numerous projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly at Google, and to do great work, you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally with partners across PR, Communications, Marketing, Product, and beyond.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in internal and executive communications with technology products or services.
- Experience with stakeholder management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the spaces of e-commerce, digital advertising, and machine learning/AI.
- Experience with change management and communicating change with empathy.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging, accessible content for audiences.
- Excellent capability to capture a leader's unique voice and craft human-focused stories.
- Strong writer who can effectively communicate via emails, scripts and internal presentations.
- Effective team player who can meet project deadlines with exceptional attention-to-detail.
About the job
As a member of the Executive and Internal Communications team, you will be part of a team which produces employee communications and events for Google executives. You will work with members of your internal client team on communications initiatives, projects and programs. You will support the work of the team to create strategic communications campaigns, come up with innovative ways to engage employees that are in tune with Google's culture, write communications, business update presentations and talking points. Responsibilities
- Direct the internal communications strategy for the SAGE and Consumer Shopping organizations, developing creative, measurable plans that inspire global employees and align with overarching company goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, influencing executives and drafting compelling, tailored communications, including presentations, emails, and FAQs that reflect their unique styles and business objectives.
- Partner globally with cross-functional teams (including PR, Policy, Legal, and HR) to ensure cohesive messaging and represent the organization’s stories of innovation in broader company-wide forums.
- Develop and manage dynamic communication channels that effectively connect executives with their audiences, facilitate two-way feedback, and track the impact of communication initiatives.
- Steer the internal communications for critical project plans, ensuring audiences receive clear, consistent, and empathetic messaging during organizational shifts or periods of uncertainty.
