Are you passionate about people and curious about a career in Human Resources? The Human Resources (HR) Intern will support the Field HR team, reporting to the Director, HR Business Partners – Field. In this role, you will contribute to key projects that build practical tools for employee development and front-line manager effectiveness. You will help interview employees, gather and organize resources, and create clear, user-friendly guides and quick-hit tools that can be used across the business. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the HR function, an understanding of how HR partners with the business, and the opportunity to strengthen your communication and project skills in a professional setting.
Job Description:EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Interview employees to learn about their roles, responsibilities, and career paths
Synthesize insights from interviews and existing materials into clear, engaging development guides
Research, gather, and organize internal and external resources (e.g., articles, job aids, trainings) that support employee development
Help format content into templates or guides that can be easily shared and used across the organization
MANAGER TOOLKIT
Support the design of concise, “quick-hit” tools for managers (e.g., one-pagers, checklists, and just-in-time resources)
Assist in drafting and refining simple, practical content on core people-management topics based on input from the Talent team
Build and format resources in PowerPoint and other formats to ensure they are visually clear and easy to use
Help organize and maintain manager resources, so they are easy to find, access, and update
TALENT PROJECT SUPPORT
Assist with coordination tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and capturing notes and action items
Track project progress and feedback from stakeholders to help ensure timely follow-up and continuous improvement
Collaborate with members of the HR team and Field leaders to gather input and test materials
Qualifications:Actively enrolled in college/university as an undergraduate or graduate student
Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
Interest in Human Resources or people-focused work
Demonstrated initiative through academics, work experience, or extracurricular involvement
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A growth mindset, with the ability to learn quickly, adapt to new environments, and incorporate feedback
Comfortable speaking with employees and managers and asking thoughtful, open-ended questions
Experience using PowerPoint to create and format basic slide decks and visual materials
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Additional Information:The compensation for this position is $25 per hour.
