What You'll Do as a Investigations Supervisor 1

•    Under direct supervision of the Chief of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles' (BMV) Investigations Section, direct the operation of District Investigations Office & supervise assigned investigators:
•    Assign all cases requiring investigation within the district; Meet with investigators to review cases & to provide guidance &/or assistance; Act as a coordinator & maintain accountability for all cases;
•    Review & analyze all routine reports & complaints & routes to proper source;
•    Assume responsibility for the conduct & performance of all investigations assigned to the district;
•    Develop & implement procedures for the enforcement of motor vehicle laws.

2 yrs. investigation exp. with experience corresponding to type of complaints & alleged violations appearing in job posting/approved position description; 

AND valid driver's license.

Option 2
-Or 3 yrs. trg. or 3 yrs. exp. as investigator where experience does not correspond with cases/complaints/allegations to be assigned; 

AND valid driver's license.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

This position will be required to report for duty during any public safety emergency.
