As an Investment Banking Marketing Strategy Associate within Asset and Wealth Management, you will assist in implementing internal and external campaigns, working closely with the business, cross-line-of-business partners, and the broader Corporate and Investment Bank Global Marketing and Communications group.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support investment banking teams in executing strategic marketing plans and programs that align with business priorities
  • Monitor competitor and industry developments to help inform marketing strategies that support the J.P. Morgan brand
  • Assist in creating content in partnership with the business to support the needs of investment banking product and industry teams (e.g., videos, podcasts, articles)
  • Assist in the implementation of internal and external campaigns that leverage all distribution channels (client newsletters, web, social, etc.) to increase the reach of content developed by the business and marketing centers of excellence
  • Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and internal partners globally to assist in building out campaign materials—on time and on budget
  • Support coordination with the extended global team of marketing colleagues to ensure consistent messaging across sector, local, regional, and global activity
  • Help produce campaign recaps and quarterly reports showcasing marketing initiatives across CIB Marketing globally and locally, incorporating data and analytics and digital assets
  • Manage logistics tied to asset creation, from project submissions in WorkFront to scheduling podcast/video recordings with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating with the Production team and vendors through execution
  • Assist in reviewing program results with the Data and Analytics team to help optimize campaigns and apply learnings to future initiatives
  • Support kick-off and debrief meetings for programs to ensure alignment across Internal Comms, Content, Web, Social, Production, Legal, Compliance, etc.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, & Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in investment banking or marketing
  • Foundational knowledge of, and interest in, investment banking products, client segments, and the overall industry landscape
  • Strong interest in digital and content marketing
  • Solid analytical skills; able to synthesize information and identify trends and opportunities
  • Experience supporting projects and processes, including budget tracking and coordination
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient in developing decks (Microsoft PowerPoint) for internal stakeholders
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage logistics for internal and external stakeholder needs (e.g., podcast episodes)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Comfortable working in an environment with shifting priorities and timelines
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with a data-driven approach
