Job Description:
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from various sources.
- Develop and manage consolidated reports related to financials, sales performance, cost structures, and e-commerce analytics
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency, profitability, and customer trends.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business insights.
- Optimize inventory forecasting for HVAC equipment, parts, and materials.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions for process improvements.
- Maintain data integrity, organization and governance, for accurate reporting and security best practices.
- Utilize data tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or other analytics platforms for deeper insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate goals into data requirements and deliver insights through reporting and dashboards.
- Partner with teams to influence operational and financial decisions with data-drive recommendations.
Working Conditions:
- Onsite, Columbus, OH
- Open office environment
- Domestic travel as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or other data visualization tools.
- Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable business insights.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with forecasting models and revenue trend analysis is a plus.
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed or as special projects/ demand
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of HVAC, construction and or services business operations, service workflows, and inventory management.
- Experience working in cloud environment (databricks, data accelerators)
- Experience integrating multiple data sources into one environment
- Experience in applying advanced analytic methodologies to business problems
- Knowledge of HVAC industry trends and data applications in residential construction.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/move up to 20 pounds as needed.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots when needed.
- Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking, or sitting.
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other equipment safely.
- With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others.
- Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad.
