POSITION SUMMARY

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support informed business decisions. The role partners with Sr. Data Analyst to support identifying trends, uncovering insights, and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. The Data Analyst ensure data accuracy, builds reports, and helps drive operational efficiency and strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Analyze current processes and procedures providing feedback and recommendations on process improvement 
  • Collaborate with department leaders on process improvement and reporting opportunities 
  • Own development, maintenance, and generation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI reporting in collaboration with department managers. 
  • Demonstrate understanding of Allied’s business needs, systems, and workflows 
  • Executes daily processes and procedures as assigned 
  • Pilot new internal processes and procedures 
  • Writes and maintains process documents 
  • Coordinates with other Allied operational units to resolve problems and implement enhancement requests 
  • Bridge communications between technical and non-technical teams 
  • Assist with various team projects as assigned 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Computer Science, Math, Statistics desirable or equivalent work experience required. 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 2-3 years related experience as a business, systems, or data quality analyst required. 
  • Prior experience with SQL (specifically, SQL Server) and report writing required. 
  • Expertise with MS Office and VBA, especially Access preferred. 
  • General familiarity with project management, especially in a waterfall methodology. 
  • Technically capable of understanding and adapting to new software programs. 
  • Communication Skills – excellent written and verbal.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • This is a standard desk role – long periods of sitting and working on a computer are required.
