Position Overview

The IT Manager is responsible for leading site-level information technology services that enable manufacturing operations, enterprise systems, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures that IT infrastructure, ERP platforms, and production-supporting technologies operate reliably, securely, and in alignment with corporate standards.

The position plays a key role in manufacturing support, ERP implementation and migration efforts, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, partnering closely with Operations, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and Corporate IT. Due to the production-critical nature of the role, this position requires a consistent onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities – IT & Manufacturing Support

  • Lead day-to-day IT operations supporting manufacturing and business functions.
  • Provide onsite support for production-critical systems and plant-floor technologies.
  • Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of manufacturing-supporting IT systems.
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering on automation, data collection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as escalation point for IT issues impacting production, shipping, or business operations.

ERP Systems & Business Applications

  • Support ERP implementation, migration, upgrades, and ongoing operations.
  • Coordinate ERP testing, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization activities.
  • Ensure ERP systems properly support manufacturing, inventory, and financial processes.
  • Support ERP integrations with manufacturing, shop-floor, and reporting systems.

Compliance, Cybersecurity & SOX

  • Execute and maintain IT controls in support of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and evidence.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate cybersecurity, access control, and change management standards.

Infrastructure & Operations

  • Oversee onsite IT infrastructure including networks, servers, endpoints, and shop-floor devices.
  • Ensure systems meet uptime, performance, and security requirements.
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.

Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Lead and develop onsite IT staff and contractors.
  • Coordinate with corporate IT teams and external vendors.
  • Manage IT vendors and support services aligned with site needs and budget.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Prior experience in an IT leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems, including implementation or migration activities.
  • Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT controls.
  • Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting operational technology (OT) or plant-floor systems.
  • Exposure to IoT, Industry 4.0, or smart manufacturing initiatives.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
