IT Project Leader, Cybersecurity

Location: Onsite four days per week - Kohler, WI

This role supports cybersecurity initiatives by helping coordinate work, gather and translate business needs, and provide visibility into effort, timelines, and resource demand.

This Cybersecurity role serves as a connector between business partners and the cybersecurity team, helping ensure requests are well‑defined, work is planned effectively, and delivery expectations are clear. This role also supports cybersecurity time tracking and resource planning activities.

BASIC OBJECTIVE

• Support cybersecurity projects and initiatives through coordination, planning, and tracking activities
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and clarify cybersecurity requirements
• Provide visibility into cybersecurity workload, resource utilization, and delivery timelines
• Help improve intake, prioritization, and execution processes across the cybersecurity organization

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Project & Delivery Support

• Assist with the planning, coordination, and tracking of cybersecurity initiatives and smaller projects
• Maintain project artifacts such as schedules, task lists, status updates, and action items
• Support issue, risk, and dependency tracking and escalation
• Help ensure projects follow basic cybersecurity governance and delivery expectations

Business Intake

• Engage with business partners to understand cybersecurity needs, requests, and constraints
• Facilitate requirement‑gathering conversations and document business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable inputs for cybersecurity technical teams
• Support request intake, scoping, and prioritization activities

Resource Planning & Time Tracking

• Support cybersecurity time tracking and effort reporting activities
• Assist with estimating work effort and resource demand for incoming requests and planned initiatives
• Help maintain basic capacity and workload views for the cybersecurity team
• Support leadership reporting related to project status, effort, and utilization

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with cybersecurity team members across multiple functional areas
• Communicate clearly with business partners, IT teams, and leadership
• Contribute to continuous improvement of cybersecurity project and intake processes
