We are seeking an Entry-Level IT Security Analyst to support daily information security and compliance operations. This role will assist with vulnerability management, patching, access reviews, and PCI DSS compliance activities. It is ideal for someone beginning their cybersecurity career who wants hands-on experience in a real-world IT environment.
Responsibilities:
• Perform internal and external vulnerability scans and assist with vulnerability remediation tracking.
• Manage vulnerability scan results and coordinate findings with IT teams.
• Support patch management efforts and validation reporting.
• Conduct user and privileged access reviews to ensure least-privilege access.
• Assist with maintaining and updating IT security policies and procedures.
• Support PCI DSS compliance activities, including documentation and evidence collection.
• Help ensure systems and processes align with security best practices.
• Maintain clear documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Required Qualifications:
Basic understanding of:
• Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
• User account management (Active Directory, Entra ID or similar) and concept of least privilege.
• Vulnerability scanning and management.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS or other compliance frameworks.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a cybersecurity role.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree or coursework in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• Internship or lab experience in IT or security.
• Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, etc.).
• Experience with audit or compliance support.
• Basic PowerShell, scripting, or reporting experience.
Schedule & Pay:
• Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm in the office.
• Starting Pay: $60,000 - $75,000/year.
