As a Software Engineer intern, you would participate in application design, development, verification, troubleshooting and delivery of a system or major subsystems. This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, technology savvy and driven to produce results.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Participate in functional and technical discussions within the team or other groups within/across the Business Unit
  • Write advanced / complex SQL with performance tuning and optimization
  • Identify ways to improve data reliability, data integrity, system efficiency and quality
  • Assist with development and testing activities
  • Assist in organizing and analyzing data for AI/ML initiatives
  • Learn and apply basic programming skills like Python
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers on innovative projects

Job Requirements

  • Work collaboratively within teams to meet goals and high-quality standards
  • Proven aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Familiarity of basic concepts of computer architecture, data structures and standard programming practices
  • Proficiency in one more of programming languages (Example: SQL/Python, Java etc.)
  • Creative and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

Responsibility and Interaction:

  • Mix of structured and unstructured tasks
  • Apply attained experiences and knowledge for solving routine to complex problems

Education

Must be enrolled in an educational or professional program through summer 2026 or later, preferrably pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
