About this role
IU Health Medical Group- South Region, which is part of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Nephrologist to practice at IU Health Bloomington Academic Health Center
Position Details:
- Full-time employment opportunity
- Adult nephrology and hemodialysis support
- Monday-Friday schedule; 8am-5pm
- Patient volume: 76/week in office; 210/week inpatient
- General Nephrology
- Location of practice: Bloomington
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Nephrology Fellowship required
Compensation Details:
- Income guaranteed, production incentive, and sign-on bonus included

Healthcare System/Hospital Description
The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center, part of the Indiana University Health Medical Group, opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.
At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
