As a Jr. Product Manager with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will develop extensive knowledge of product line, makes sound product management decisions. Responsible for the margin contribution of the line(s). Provides support to sales and marketing groups. Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, and provides concentrated training in specific product lines to application engineers and sales channels. Acts as primary contact for the responsible product line by providing Total Customer Satisfaction user experience

Additional Duties: 

  • Portfolio Management 
    • Technology Development-Define new products, line strategies
    • Margin Accountability- Run periodic product cost and profitability reviews
    • Competitive Analysis Analyze and report on competitive landscape
    • Product Lifecycle Management- Upgrade and obsolescence planning
    • Demand Forecasting- Drive/approve forecast by part numbers
    • Stocking Management-Optimize inventory turns
    • Price Management- Update internal or external price list   
  • Product Lines Support

    • Product Derivatives Development- Develop "M" numbers and accessories
    • Applications Engineering- Assist AE's and field high level technical questions 
    • Documentation Accuracy- Reviewing of internal & external information related to products
    • S&M Support - Support trade show and customer visits as required
  • Technical Information Development & Organization
    • Technical Literature Generation & Maintenance-Generate NMA, Tech Papers, DS, etc.
    • Sales Demo Kits-Plan and maintain demo kits
    • Sales Collaterals Development - Develop Brochures, Flyers, website tools, etc.
    • Product Training - Develop materials for on-site or online trainings

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Four-year degree or equivalent specialized training
  • Experience: One to three years of practice, training and/or experience. Basic computer skills. Familiarity with ERP system
  • Travel Requirement:  As needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Experience: Two to five years of practice, training and/or experience
