The Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Fixed Assets Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will support the management, verification, and reporting of fixed assets, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposal processes in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the recording and tracking of fixed asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reconciliations.
Support monthly and quarterly close activities related to fixed assets, including depreciation runs and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records in the fixed asset subledger.
Conduct physical asset verification and tagging across various locations to ensure asset integrity and compliance.
Collaborate with project owners and finance teams to ensure timely capitalization of assets.
Help prepare audit documentation and respond to internal and external audit requests.
Participate in system enhancements related to fixed asset accounting.
Support compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies.
Assist in generating reports and analysis for management review.
Perform manual Journal entries, accruals and reclassifications.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP, Power BI, or other ERP systems is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance; internship or exposure to fixed assets is a plus.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively.
The base pay for this position is
$50,700.00 – $101,300.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
