JOB OVERVIEW:
THE·TEAM is seeking a curious and driven Junior Product Manager (JPM) to join the Global Insights and Innovation team – a small, collaborative group who exist to EXPAND, ELEVATE and CREATE proprietary products that power the agency’s brands, talent, and properties businesses.
Global Insights and Innovation team sits at the center of THE·TEAM’s business, leading performance measurement, audience intelligence, and custom research and analytics that power insight-driven client strategies.
As a Junior Product Manager on the Innovation Team, you will contribute to features across our product roadmap from discovery through delivery. Working directly with the Product Manager, you will be responsible for building a deep understanding of product capabilities and user needs – through research and close partnership with our internal Service team – and translating those insights into clear product requirements for design and engineering.
This role is ideal for someone early in their product career who is energized by the challenge of building meaningful tools and who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. For those passionate about sports and entertainment, this is an opportunity to shape how technology drives insight and impact across the industry.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Support the full product lifecycle – from discovery and requirements through prototyping, design collaboration, engineering delivery, and post-launch measurement and iteration
- Conduct and lead discovery efforts: stakeholder interviews, user research, and workflow analysis to deeply understand the needs of internal teams
- Develop prototypes (no coding experience required) to test product decisions and iterate on feature requirements
- Translate research and learnings into well-scoped product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that give design and engineering teams what they need to execute
- Collaborate with design on UX flows and with engineers during sprint planning, grooming, and review cycles to keep features on track and in scope
- Partner with the Service team to maintain strong relationships with agency divisions, ensuring product delivery reflects real business priorities
- Define and track feature-level success metrics, synthesizing data from dashboards and analytics tools to assess impact and inform iteration
- Develop a working fluency in THE·TEAM’s data ecosystem – understanding how our core platform works and the connection to broader divisional outputs
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Computer Science, or related field); 1-2 years of experience in product management, analytics, operations, strategy, or a closely related role
- Thrive working in a ‘start up’ environment that moves at a fast pace, with a significant amount of autonomy in terms of day-to-day planning and execution
- Passionate about developing products and skilled in synthesizing complexity into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical teammates and senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working with data and insights tools
- Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills
- A ‘do-er’ who is excited by new and undefined challenges, and can create the plan and structure to get it done
Base salary range: $80-90K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
