*Junior Technician Specialist

1. Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers.
2. Configure, install, maintain, and trouble shoot printers, scanners, electronics, and other peripheral devices in local and wide area networks. 
3. Configure, install, maintain, and trouble shoot PC Workstations including application installation and debugging, network client installation and maintenance. 
4. Assist with network management and monitoring.    
5. Install, relocate, replace, troubleshoot and maintain VoIP telephones 
6. Assist in supporting and maintaining mobile/cell phones and other handheld computing devices 
7. Performs daily operational tasks including maintaining problem / solution documentation  
8. Prepares and maintains written documentation and inventory of all systems devices. 
9. Regularly takes part in technical training 
10. On-call, and weekend work are required.  
11. Attends departmental and user meetings as required.  
12. Performs other work-related duties as assigned or requested.  

• Associate in Science with major in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• One or both of the following certifications:
  • CompTIA IT Fundamentals Pro or CompTIA A+, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Experience with the installation and use of computer application software focusing on Microsoft products such as Windows Operating Systems and Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills including identifying and resolving computer and peripheral setup, trouble shooting, and component failure.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Proven interpersonal relation skills.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license for automobiles.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Purpose of Position: Provide daily repair, configuration, and out of the box set up of peripheral devices, including computers, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, phones, and other electronic voice and data devices.
Schedule Details: 40 Hours Per Week, Mon-Fri, 7a-3p Rotating Weekends and Holidays, Rotating on-call schedule
