In other words… kids who will win at life! </div><div> </div><div>KidStrong Paradise Valley is rapidly growing, and we're looking for a talented, enthusiastic Childrens Coach who is passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives. </div><div> </div><div> <strong>KidStrong Childrens Coach</strong> <strong>Perks and Benefits:</strong> </div><ul> <li>Joining a workplace where you can be part of a fun, energetic, and professional team that loves what they do!</li> <li>Coaching and mentoring children to make an impact on their lives!</li> <li>Teaching parents how to make their children smarter, stronger, and more confident!</li> <li>Having flexibility for a part-time or full-time schedule</li> </ul><div> </div><div> <strong>The</strong> <strong>KidStrong Childrens Coach</strong> - <strong>Role and Schedule Details:</strong> </div><ul> <li>We are looking for a coach with athletic or coaching experience who ideally has experience coaching kids ages 12 months to 11 years old.</li> <li>KidStrong Coach would focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from the evolving monthly curriculum</li> <li>The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind the KidStrong curriculum </li> <li>Our classes run typically weekdays, 9 am -11 am and evenings until 7 pm, and weekends are typically from 8 am through lunch/noon.  </li> <li>Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on studio needs. </li> <li>Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party coaching hours.</li> <li>Prior experience as a  pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required!</li> </ul><div> <strong>Kidstrong Childrens Coach Responsibilities:</strong> </div><ul> <li>Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups range from roughly 12 months old to 11 years old</li> <li>Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team</li> <li>Must be able to ensure classes both start and end on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of curriculum</li> <li>Greet students as well as the parent(s)/guardian(s) individually prior to and at the beginning of class</li> <li>Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading the class</li> <li>Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises</li> <li>Ensure cleanliness of the center, including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors - this includes taking out the trash, sweeping and mopping, wiping down equipment, and sanitizing the mat at the end of a shift</li> <li>Effectively use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records of data for parents (attendance, awards, etc.)</li> <li>Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack, our company messaging system, including periodic checks of messages when not in centers</li> <li>Complete training through FranConnect as required by the HQ Training and Certification team</li> <li>Must be able to work in a physically intensive environment - coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through class, lifting and repeatedly moving equipment up to 25 pounds in weight.</li> <li>Must be comfortable working "hands-on" with kids to ensure proper technique and ensure student safety.</li> <li>Assist parents of students ages three and younger with the direction and flow of  a class</li> <li>Attend monthly center staff programming meetings to receive training for next month's curriculum</li> <li>Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by the KidStrong Director</li> <li>Learn and manage Coach KidStrong Academy - special classes held by centers when local schools are not operating (for example Winter Break, Summer Break)</li> <li>Must obtain certified status by the HQ Training and Certification team</li> <li>Attend monthly center staff programming meetings to receive training for next month’s curriculum</li> </ul><div> </div><div><strong>KidStrong Childrens Coach Qualifications:</strong></div><ul> <li>Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!</li> <li>Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred</li> <li>Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum </li> <li>Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics</li> <li>CPR certified</li> <li>Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills</li> <li>Self-starter who just gets a job done</li> <li>If you enjoy the spotlight, this position was meant for you!</li> </ul><div>Interested?
