Description

Markon is seeking a Knowledge Manager to support our NRO client from Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement knowledge management strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the capture, storage, and dissemination of organizational knowledge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge gaps and develop solutions to address them
  • Leverage data science, AI, and ML techniques to enhance knowledge management practices, including data analysis, predictive modeling, and natural language processing
  • Develop and maintain machine learning models to automate knowledge extraction, classification, and retrieval processes
  • Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of knowledge repositories, databases, and content management systems
  • Ensure the accuracy, relevance, and accessibility of knowledge assets for all stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication and information exchange between teams, departments, and external partners
  • Establish metrics and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives
  • Continuously assess and improve knowledge management processes and tools based on feedback and evolving organizational needs

Qualifications

Required:

Entry-Level:

  • 0–3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • OR 7 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED
  • OR 5 years of related experience with an Associate degree

Intermediate-Level:

  • 4–7 years of experience with a Master’s in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • OR 10 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED
  • OR 8 years of related experience with an Associate degree
  • OR 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree

Senior-Level:

  • 8+ years of experience with a Doctorate in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • OR 16 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED
  • OR 14 years of related experience with an Associate degree
  • OR 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • OR 10 years of related experience with a Master’s degree

AND

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (Preferrably with this client)
  • Experience in knowledge management and tools such as SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence
  • Understanding of knowledge management principles and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of database management and SQL

Desired:

  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics
  • Familiarity with knowledge management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Jira)
  • Certification in knowledge management or related areas
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Certification in knowledge management or related fields
