Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Python Automation Engineer with expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing to join our Medical Device R&D team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing Python-based automation frameworks, HIL test environments, and system-level verification for embedded medical devices. You will work closely with software, firmware, hardware, systems engineering, and quality teams to automate verification activities and ensure compliance with medical device standards.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation frameworks for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.

Develop automated test scripts for system, integration, regression, and functional testing of embedded medical devices.

Configure and maintain HIL test benches, simulators, and hardware test setups.

Integrate automation frameworks with hardware components, sensors, actuators, communication interfaces, and embedded controllers.

Develop automation utilities for data acquisition, logging, analysis, and report generation.

Perform software and hardware integration testing to validate product functionality and performance.

Collaborate with Software, Firmware, Hardware, Systems, and Verification & Validation teams to define automation strategies.

Analyse test results, investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and support defect resolution.

Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines.

Prepare test plans, test cases, automation documentation, and verification reports.

Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with medical device software development and quality processes.
