About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant (Vice President) to support Business Management for Global Operations Strategy & Transformation. This role partners closely with leadership to drive strategic initiatives, oversee execution of complex programs, and ensure business management rigor across a highly matrixed and regulated environment.

The Lead Business Execution Consultant is responsible for leading cross‑functional efforts from strategy through execution, addressing complex business challenges, and influencing outcomes through strong consultative leadership. The role requires sound judgment, analytical strength, and the ability to balance efficiency, risk management, and business results.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross‑functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a wide range of programs, services, and initiatives.

  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, proactively identifying risks, limiting exposure, and creating efficiencies where appropriate.

  • Review and assess strategic approaches and the effectiveness of business management support functions and overall business performance.

  • Conduct assessments through detailed fact‑finding and data analysis, applying creative and structured approaches to solve complex issues.

  • Develop and present solutions and recommendations, supporting the implementation of approved plans and decisions.

  • Make decisions in highly complex, multifaceted situations that require a strong understanding of the business group’s functional area or products.

  • Facilitate decision‑making and issue resolution across stakeholders.

  • Collaborate and consult with Business Execution team members and leaders to advance strategic priorities.

  • Influence, guide, and mentor less experienced Strategy and Execution staff, promoting execution excellence and best practices.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong PowerPoint / executive deck development skills, including KPI dashboards and financial visuals

  • Expertise translating complex data into clear recommendations and decision points for leadership

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience across corporate strategy, strategic execution; business management, transformation, or enterprise program execution; and/or operations‑, technology, or risk‑focused strategy roles within a regulated environment.

  • Proven experience at one of the top five management consulting

  • Advanced analytical skills using Excel and/or BI tools for trend analysis and forecasting

  • Ability to align operational performance with enterprise‑level strategy and goals

  • Experience partnering with Directors and senior leaders to influence decisions and priorities

  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and actionable outcomes

  • Proven ability to work across operations, finance, supply chain, sales, and quality teams

  • Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, change‑driven environments

  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver executive‑level business reviews for senior leadership decision‑making.

  • Strong business management experience overseeing financials, headcount, and operating budgets

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

  • Adherence to established in‑office attendance expectations is required.
